All studies on the Health and Social Care Portfolio are required to upload their recruitment activity onto the Central Portfolio Management System (CPMS) on a monthly basis.
Registration onto the Health and Social Care Portfolio is central to the allocation of Activity Based Funding and obtaining NHS support costs for studies.
This is calculated and allocated based on NHS recruitment activity that has been uploaded to CPMS for each Portfolio study.
Before you can upload recruitment data to a study, you will need a CPMS user account. The Chief Investigator, Study Coordinator and Research Activity Coordinator (as identified in the study registration form) will be registered with the access rights to the study.
All study team roles (within CPMS) are able to upload recruitment data, however it is the Research Activity Coordinator who has overall responsibility for recruitment upload.
A recruitment data template will then need to be completed and uploaded to CPMS every month.
