This funding scheme, run by the Brain Tumour Charity, has been launched to address the issues highlighted in 'Losing Myself: The Reality of Life with a Brain Tumour' (external link) and to improve the quality of life of those diagnosed with a brain tumour.
Applications must have a direct and measurable benefit to quality of life and projects must focus on measuring and minimising the impact that brain tumours have on people’s lives.
For applications focused on paediatric brain tumours or those caring for someone with a brain tumour, there must be a clear explanation of how those affected have been involved in developing and prioritising the research questions proposed.
Funding of up to £300,000 per project will be available for up to three years. Applications will close on Monday 12 October 2015. For more information, visit The Brain Tumour Charity website (external link).
