Today, Public Health Wales launched their Research Highlights 2016/17 report.
The report reflects on the progress the organisation has made in implementing its Research Strategy since it was launched in 2015.
Compared with the previous financial year external funding was up 43% and 10 new research projects were granted NHS research permission.

This report highlights just some of the high quality research projects, totalling 124 academic publications in 2016. It aims to provide the reader with an overview of the organisation’s research activity as well as raise awareness of the work being carried out to support the growth of high quality research within the organisation.
