An exciting opportunity has arisen at the Health and Care Research Wales Support Centre for a digital marketing professional to help support vital research driving better health and social care for Wales, through high quality, effective digital communications.
Funded by the Research and Development Division within Welsh Government, the Support Centre facilitates the implementation of Welsh Government policies by providing centralised support functions and services for the health and social care research community in Wales. As part of this, the Support Centre is expanding its communications team to support research teams, units and centres across Wales delivering online, print, event and PR services that promote and enable research across the NHS in Wales.
The ideal candidate will have experience of developing and maintaining websites using content management systems, creating engaging and optimised content for digital platforms, evaluating digital channels through analytics and carrying out user acceptance testing of new online tools. They will be a pro-active and well-organised individual with an appetite for driving improvement in digital communications. Working across channels and audiences, the role will support communications and engagement activities nationally through effective campaigns, professional networks and individual outputs.
The post holder will be educated to degree level in digital media, communications or other relevant field or the equivalent level of knowledge and experience for both. They will also have experience of working in a digital media or communications role.
Part-time considered. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.

Salary: £22,129 to £28,747 per annum (Band 5)
