Nominations are now open for the Research Impact Awards 2019. Let’s showcase the hard-working, high-achieving staff from the Support and Delivery service that have made a difference to research and development in Wales. But we can only honour these research stars with your help.
That’s why we’re appealing to you to nominate an individual or team who deserve recognition for a 2019 Research Impact Award.
The awards ceremony will take place at the Support and Delivery event on 14 March 2019 at Jury’s Inn, Cardiff.
Three awards will be presented at the event under the following categories, based on our strategic aims, which will acknowledge the valuable research delivery achievements made by individuals and teams:
We will increase opportunities for patients and the public to participate in, and benefit from, safe ethical research, regardless of geographical locations.
We will enable industry and chief investigators to set-up studies in multiple sites across Wales in a single access, streamlined and efficient way.
We will attract and deploy appropriately skilled, qualified and experienced staff in a consistent way across Health and Care Research Wales, embedding shared values and behaviours.
Nicola Williams, director of support and delivery said: “There is a lot of fantastic research taking place in Wales and our awards are designed to celebrate the hard work and excellence that makes it all possible.
“So I would encourage everyone in the Support and Delivery service to consider nominating a person, or team, if they have excelled in the past year. We really do rely on your nominations to ensure the most deserving staff from right across Wales are recognised.”
