An Introduction to Public Involvement in Research - online training. Please note we are in the process of updating the online training.
All new Network members will be asked to complete this online introduction before undertaking any involvement opportunities. The online introduction can also be used as a refresher for existing Network members as well as researchers.
First Steps: members of the public and researchers working together
This interactive day includes an overview of both the research cycle and public involvement, a discussion of roles and responsibilities, and practical tips for effective involvement.
An introduction to research methods
Covers the purpose and stages of the research process, developing a research question, an overview of research methodologies and data generation.
Good Clinical Practice
This training is for Network members currently involved in a research opportunity and introduces the laws, frameworks and guidelines which govern the set up and conduct of clinical and non-clinical research.
