Reimbursing expenses and payment for time are two ways to make sure that members of the public have an equal opportunity to get involved in research.
When you express your interest in a research opportunity or an event supported by the public involvement and engagement team, the advert will clearly state who will reimburse expenses and any payment for time, if available.
Payment will either be made through the team in the Health and Care Research Wales Support and Delivery Centre or through another organisation e.g. a health board or university.
