The Centre for Ageing and Dementia Research (CADR) invite you to attend a seminar at DSDC Wales, Bangor University with guest speaker Dr Trevor Adams who has specialised in dementia care nursing for many years and is now working with ‘Livability’ a Christian disability charity on dementia friendly churches.

Seminar content:

Dr. Trevor Adams will speak to us about his work with dementia and spirituality, including the response of religious communities to persons with dementia. He is the Dementia Friendly Churches Associate for Livability, formerly the Shaftesbury Society and John Grooms, the UK’s largest Christian disability charity.

Dr Adams has worked in dementia care for over 30 years. He was previously a Lecturer at University of Surrey where his PhD was supervised by Professor Sara Arber. He has written extensively on dementia care and spoken at conferences in Australia, Canada, Japan and the UK.
