Rural living: exploring the contribution of language and culture to community life

13 July 2016   |   10:30 - 15:30   |   Canolfan Hermon, Hermon, Pembrokeshire, SA36 ODT   |   £0.00

The purpose of this free one-day event is to bring together a range of groups and individuals including local people, service providers, practitioners and academics to discuss the contribution of culture and language on community life. We are interested in cooperating with communities and groups to enhance our appreciation of what holds Welsh rural communities together in times quite demanding in terms of public resources.

The views of local people and groups are the key to ensuring that research work reflects your experiences. The information and ideas gathered during this event will be used to develop research in collaboration with local communities as well as to inform policy and practice.

Everyone is welcome to come along and we welcome contributions from all ages within the community. A warm welcome awaits you and we look forward to hearing your views on what it's like to be living or working in a Welsh rural community.
