Social Care and Cancer Conference

27 June 2016   |   10:00 - 15:00   |   Life Sciences Hub, Cardiff   |   £0.00

Supporting care provision through research a consensus conference

Conference aims:

Recent changes to social care provision present significant challenges and opportunities for services. This consensus meeting offers a timely opportunity to identify key challenges for your service and to prioritise areas where research can, in a timely fashion, support practice change with a focus on cancer patients and their families.

Workshops:

The conference will concentrate on round table discussions. We will ask you to bring key ideas to the table and to prioritise what’s most important for next steps in social care provision in cancer. We can then develop a consensus on how to use re-search to support your development plans.

Imelda Richardson Chief Inspector, Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales.
