Non-commercial research in the NHS must deliver value for money and be as cost neutral as possible whilst considering the benefit and safety of the patient.
AcoRD is a policy and framework for attributing costs associated with health and social research taking place in the NHS. AcoRD was developed to improve the consistency of cost attribution and funding of non-commercial research across the UK.
